Important Note: The carrier-bearing drop kit is necessary for models equipped with two-piece rear drive shaft. 6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling the driveshaft.
